أرى العمر يمضي ولا من أمل
وحتى الحبيب نسى ما الغزل
وفي الجو ينمو جدار الزعل
وحان الوداع وجاء الأجل

Auch vergaß die geliebte was Flirt ist
In der Luft wächst die Unmutwand
